Thanks for dropping by!

Sunday's lunch

Had not vacuumed my car for ages now (2 months?). So took it to the Bundusan car wash at noon today. The place is just opposite the new 'Hotel Bundusan'.

The car wash kiosk runs an industrious business as there's an eatery just next to it. So no worry on not knowing what to do while waiting for the car to be ready :) There are several stalls at the eatery, but the one stall that receives perhaps 85% orders from hungry customers is the "mee-hoon sup goreng isi/kepala ikan" (vermicelli noodles soup with fried fish slice or fish head) stall.

Vermicelli noodle soup with fried fish slice

The soup is very rich in flavour, and the fried fish slices are crunchy and fresh. It cost RM5.00 a bowl. Hehe... I was rather full, so I requested for very little noodle for my soup. Am a soup person, just wanted to enjoy the thick, rich soup yum-yum!

Here are some of the taboos that you must pay attention to, or you may make mistakes and be laughed at.

1. Don't use chopsticks to hit the side of your bowl or plate to make a lot of noise, because Chinese people think only beggars would do this to beg food.

2. When you use chopsticks, don't stretch out your index finger, which would be regarded as a kind of accusation to others. Never use chopsticks to point at others.

3. It is thought to be an impolite behavior when you suck the end of a chopstick. People will think you lack family education.

4. Don't use chopsticks to poke at every dish without knowing what your want. And last, don't insert chopsticks vertically into the food. Chinese people do this only when they burn incense to sacrifice the dead.

Check out the forth point and relate it to your photo. :) so, dont play with your chopstick.
