Name blunder

A good friend of mine (Miss Eckb) who works in a Law Firm told me this one yesterday, and I thought to share it here.
As anyone working in a law firm must know, there are many walk-in clients from all walks of life coming in everyday. And so in one occassion, Miss Eckb over-heard her employer (Miss B) calling out to several waiting new clients;
Miss B: Which one of you is a fireman? Mr. Fireman?
Client: Errrrrrr... it's Mr. Fi-re-man (fee-ruh-man)
The buzzing office turned dead silent, and the only sign of life was the shaking of shoulders. Miss B had to clear her throat many times after that before she can speak properly again.
