At the cinema

Can't quite remember when this happened. Must be 7 years ago! *whoaah!* But this memory stays fresh and always produce a smile whenever it chose to breeze across my thoughts.
My group of friends back in Uni (USM, Penang) were moviegoers. Our cinema of choice was in Bukit Jambul Complex.
One time, just a few days after the release of "City of Angels" starring Meg Ryan (loved her pixie hair-do!) and Nicholas Cage (so-so...), Yanue, Jun-bong, Alin, John-boy and yours truly were queuing for tickets. We came early so as to catch the previews of other new and coming soon movies. Moving cautiously in the dim light toward our 'strategic' seats--not too forward, and right in the middle of the row--we settled down to be entertained. You see, we thought the dang movie was to end happily-ever-after!
Suddenly I realised I was impulsively gropping around the theatre seat, fingers seeking, searching, reaching for... "SEAT BELT"!!!! OMGosh! What came over me? My body reflex must have responded to the seat as sitting in a car! Luckily no one noticed hehehe... Told the rest only at a later stage.
At the end, Yanue lost one of her new contact lense as her tears were so huge they washed the lense ashore... no thanks to the awful ending! The angel became human in vain *harummph*...
