How nice to turn back the time and experience that age again for a day or two? hehehe... Yep, just for a short time lar... I won't want to go through all the monotonous lectures, tutorials, assignments and exams again *grrr*

MAY 2008 - Part 1

My my my, it's June already. May was a month full of colourful events, and so felt rather like a very short month for me hmmm...
I couldn't find the time to share my 'May' story-mory earlier. But anyhow, here's some of it (^_^)
1st May 2008 -
Labour day for most people. But it's also the annual Thanks-giving 'Kaamatan' Mass for Penampang Parish. The host for the mass this year was Assumption Church, Sugud.

2nd May 2008 -
Farewell party at our MD's house for two long-serving staff (and also a husband & wife team) Lisa and Pet. They are migrating to greener pastures in the land famous for 'Kangaroos' hehe!

7th May 2008 -
Aunty Jewel's Birthday (sweet 16th in her heart forever she said hehe...)

Aunty Jewel (in purple) aka Queen E, cutting her heart shaped cake. The weather was sooo dry and humid, it took 2 glasses of lime juice to quench her thirst!
In this pic, the attention was on the lone lady (red arrow) in the background. The gang were impressed and admired her for being able to eat 'alone' in enjoyment and did not seem to be out of place hehe!
10th May 2008 -
Kg. Bukitas, Kg. Tuaui and Kg. Monsopiad (3 of 7 kampungs under HNCT) joined force to organise the ' Sugandoi Kaamatan BTM'. It was a success and there was much merriment that evening ^_^
11th May 2008 -
Faye's 10th Birthday :)

As it was also mother's day, poor Aunty Jewel was asked to give a speech on behalf of the other momsies.

"It's my sweet 26th Birthday," says Bro. Columba.
The sisters and I (the cutest niece hehe) treated birthday boy to more seafood and chinese cuisines at Supertanker in Jalan Bundusan. Flora, his friend home from UK, joined us as well.
We had Carrot Cheese Cake and a butter sponge cake (from Flora) for dessert after dinner. There goes my dream of looking my best (no protruding tummy!) at Christmas this year. Been eating big meals at night too much this month. Gosh!
Supertanker does not serve coffee. So we adjourned to a kopitiam in Beverly before sending Flora and her sister Juliana home.
Anyway... thank you Lord for these delicious meals we enjoy, and for the love and affections we share for one another.
